  • Second chorus: Two trumpeters compete for the same girl and a job with the Artie Shaw Orchestra
  • Trocadero: Two young people a nightclub that's on the brink of bankruptcy in this musical from the 1940's. Resolved to bring the nightclub back as a success, the duo instill some of their youthful energy into the place. They start signing a variety of entertaining acts and some exciting jazz performers. Through their efforts, the young couple makes a success of the club and save it from closing
  • People are funny: Comedy about Hollywood's idea of big-time radio. Battling radio producers vie to land the big sponsor with an original radio idea, but when one of them steals a great idea from a local station, comic situations develop
  • Doll face: A burlesque dancer wanting to "clean up" her act tries to make it big on Broadway as a musical comedy star, struggling her way to the top with the help of her boyfriend
