Summary
  • The iron mask: Douglas Fairbanks stars in his last silent film as D'Artagnan, the older and more mature personal protector of young Louis XIV. When he tips a plot by the powerful cardinals to replace the heir to the throne with his twin brother, D'Artagnan reunites his aging compatriots of old for one last hurrah
  • The lost world: Professor Challenger, the man of vision, persuades his skeptical colleagues to return with him to a remote South American plateau where he has discovered living dinosaurs. Resisting danger and death, Challenger's party return to London in triumph with a captive Brontosaurus. But the beast escapes, turning the city into a shambles and standing the 20th century on its head
  • The fatal glass of beer: Mr. Snavely is a Yukon prospector awaiting the return of his wayward son, Chester. It seems that years ago, Chester had drank "the fatal glass of beer" that sent him on his path to the big city and a life of hedonism. After being released from prison, Chester is now on his way home to his mother and father. This film is considered one of Fields' best comedy shorts
  • War babies: This short film features babies and small children in roles typically reserved for adults with the theme of this feature being a war time hot spot where doughboys and dancing girls mingle. The featured gal in the dance revue is Charmaine (Shirley Temple), a gal who makes the soldier's heads spin. Check out the entertainment and action at Buttermilk Pete's Cafe
