Summary
  • San Quentin: What happens during the long years spent behind the walls of San Quentin? The new yard captain wants to make those years a time of rehabilitation rather than punishment, but not everyone is buying it
  • The roaring twenties: A World War I veteran returns to New York, innocently becomes involved in bootlegging, builds up an empire, and gets caught up in a gang war
  • Dark victory: A beautiful and headstrong heiress suddenly learns that she has only six months to live. Defiant and rebellious at first, she conquers this stroke of fate by the power of great love and ultimately finds peace and happiness in the brief span of life allotted to her
  • Virginia City: It's 1864 and the Confederacy's last hope is an infusion of gold to buy war materials. The gold is available, if someone can smuggle it from a town far west of all the fighting - Virginia City, Nevada. An undercover Union officer is determined to stop a gold-laden train from rolling into Dixie
